The California brand Avalon, already known for Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon varietal wines, has added a Red Blend from the stellar 2015 vintage. A warm summer combined with well-reported drought conditions led to a very early harvest with light, concentrated yields with exceptional quality. Based on Zinfandel, Cabernet, Tannat and Petite Sirah, Avalon Red blend shows deep color, firm tannins and dense black fruit character.
