Burns Night Honors Famous Scottish Poet with Scotch Tasting

New Haven celebrants gathered for Burns Night 2019 to honor famed Scottish poet Robert Burns on January 24 at Oak Haven Table and Bar. Select Scotch expressions from Highland Park, Tullabardine and Laphroaig were served. Annually celebrated in the UK, and by Scotch fans everywhere, Robert Burns Day fetes the famed, late writer and lyricist, regarded as the national poet of Scotland. Dressed in Scottish Highland formal kilts, Scott Randall, Sales Manager, Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut, Sean Oakley, Trade Development Manager, Brescome Barton and Brian Federman, Director of Education and Account Development, Brescome Barton, showcased Single Malt Scotches for guests while offering education on the brands.
