Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival on September 21-24, 2017 offers four days of events between The Elms, Rosecliff and The Marble House on Bellevue Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island, including the annual two-day grand tasting will be held on Saturday, September 23 from and Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a VIP Admission beginning at 12 p.m. on both days.
The annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival will kick off with the Bordeaux Grand Cru Dinner at the Elms on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Guests will have the chance to experience a French-inspired evening reminiscent of the Guilded Age. After Champagne and canapés and a mansion tour, guests will be served a five-course dinner with wine pairings from the five legendary Bordeaux properties. The event schedule is created this year in accordance to safety regulations among COVID-19 so check the schedule and register for events, which are seated and need tickets.
All proceeds from the Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival benefit the historic preservation efforts of The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island, a non-profit organization accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and dedicated to preserving and interpreting the area’s historic architecture, landscapes and decorative arts. Its 11 historic properties—seven of them National Historic Landmarks—span more than 250 years of American architectural and social development.
