The 7th annual Ninety9Bottles Craft Beer Festival will take place at Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk on June 3, offering guests samples of more than 75 New England craft beer selections. While enjoying both new brews and familiar favorites and taking in views of Norwarlk Harbor, guests will also be treated to live music from top local acts and local fare from popular food trucks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Adoption Hope Foundation, a Fairfield-based charity whose mission is to provide grants for people seeking to build their families through adoption.

The ShakesBeer Festival is back for its sixth year, bringing craft beer and brewers to the grounds of the historic American Shakespeare Theatre overlooking Long Island Sound. Tastes from more than 50 local craft breweries will be on tap. Entertainment will include live music, along with games and activities. Guests will also be able to purchase eats from local food trucks. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to athletic scholarships for Stratford students. Event is 21+.
The seventh-annual Ocean State Brewers Festival, dedicated exclusively to Rhode Island craft beer, will take place at Unity Park in Bristol on Aug. 27. Sponsored by restaurent and hosted by Bristol’s Pivotal Brewing Company, guests still enjoy unique beers brewed just for the festival and poured by many of the brewers who made them. Proceeds will benefit the RI Brewers Guild.
The 8th annual Crazy Brew Bash will take place at the Mount Southington Ski Area on Sept. 23 featuring hundreds of beers from more than 70 local craft breweries, along with select wines, spirits and seltzers. Entertainment will include live music, a Bloody Mary contest, corn hole and more with eats from a variety of food truck vendors. Sponsored by Crazy Bruce’s Liquors, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the REACH foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children through educational programs and scholarships. There will also be a toy drive at the event to collect new, unwrapped toys to donated to children in need this holiday season.
Mohegan Sun will host its 10th Annual Sun BrewFest in its Earth Expo & Convention Center on Saturday, Oct. 21. More than 100 beers in a variety of styles will be available for guests to taste, including ale, lager, sour ale, stouts, pilsner, Belgian-style ale, IPAs and Seasonal IPAs, along with select seltzers, spirits and seasonal craft cocktails. Local restaurants will sell a variety of food offerings to pair with guests’ favorite brews, such as Southern inspired BBQ, traditional American, Italian, seasonal sweets and more. Sugar will perform live. Guests also have the option to register to compete in a Cornhole Tournament. Tickets for Sun BrewFest are available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster.

The RI Home Show is back for its 74th year and in celebration the show is adding a new experience to the event, in partnership with the Rhode Island Brewers Guild: the House of Brews. Attendees of the RI Home Show, taking place at the Convention Center April 4th to the 7th, will get the chance to enjoy complimentary samples of local beers from breweries within the Guild. The Rhode Island Brewers Guild is the official brewery association in Rhode Island, existing to support and promote Rhode Island Craft Breweries. The Guild was established in 2013 with five founding breweries and brewpubs. As of today, it serves approximately 36 participating Rhode Island breweries.
