Critic’s Choice Event Showcases Local Tastes

The Providence Journal hosted its third annual Critic’s Choice Food & Drink Event at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on September 13. Gail Ciampa, Food Editor at The Providence Journal, hosted the event, which highlighted food and beverages from more than 70 local bars and restaurants in Rhode Island. Every establishment was chosen by Ciampa. Guests enjoyed tastes from top Rhode Island restaurants, including the Coast Guard House, Los Andes Restaurant and Persimmon, paired with beverages and cocktails from vendors including KEEL Vodka, Brockmans Gin, Foolproof Brewing Company, Revival Brewing Co., Gooseneck Vineyards, Bravazzi Hard Italian Soda and Newport Vineyards.
