The Dreaming Tree Wines, from award-winning winemaker Sean McKenzie (pictured left) and musician Dave Matthews (pictured right), announced the achievement of its goal to raise $1 million in charitable donations for environmental organizations The Wilderness Society and Living Lands & Water to support reforestation and conservation. This goal was set six years ago when the brand launched. The Dreaming Tree has assisted The Wilderness Society’s initiatives to protect the nation’s carbon-storing forests, including the San Juan and Cherokee National Forests and California’s Mendocino National Forest. The brand also supported the “Million Trees Project” via Living Land & Waters, to combat the decline in tree diversity in the floodplain forests of the Mississippi River basin, along with other initiatives.
