Eder Bros. Hosts Iron Bartending Competition Featuring Copper Fox

The winning cocktail, called “The Perfect Sperryville Marconi,” was made with 1.5 oz. Copper Fox Rye, 1 oz. Carpano Bianco, 1/2 oz. Fruits Rouges, 3/4 oz. lemon juice, 1/4 oz. simple syrup, Molasses bitters and Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider.

Eder Bros., Inc. and Elm City Social in New Haven hosted an iron bartending competition featuring Virginia’s Copper Fox Rye Whiskey and Wasmund’s Single Malt Whiskey on January 26, 2016. Twelve bartending teams faced off in multiple rounds until one team, Corey Bonderenko and Roger Gross of Highland Brass Co. in Waterbury, earned the win. Their winning cocktail will be featured on the brand’s website. Ordinary New Haven’s Nick Giordano and Moises Ramirez took second, and Adam Patrick and Kim Schroeder from Can Tiin in Bridgeport placed third.
