Quintessential Wines announced the hiring of industry veteran Scott Gerber. He joins the Napa Valley-based company in the newly created position of Vice President – Business Development. Gerber has more than 40 years’ experience in the wine and spirits industry, most notable as the co-founder of Martin Scott Wines, serving for 20 years in its leadership. Geber will work within the company’s New York area management to strengthen Quintessential’s distributor network nationally, assist in key accounts management and educate its network on the company’s portfolio of wines. Quintessential is a family-owned import, sales and marketing company based California and represents a global portfolio of fine wine selections. “Scott’s unparalleled network of valuable relationships, and expertise in brand-building, customer service and market knowledge, makes him a great asset to a growing company like Quintessential,” the company stated in a release.
