Gold Bar Whiskey Launches in Nutmeg and Ocean States

By October 29, 2017Connecticut, Rhode Island, Top News

Gold Bar American Whiskey is now available in the Ocean State via Rhode Island Distributing Co. (RIDC) and in Connecticut via Northeast Beverage.  The premium blend whiskey begins with heartland grains distilled and sourced from Kentucky and Indiana distilleries. The whiskey is then blended at the distillery on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay, then aged in used French oak wine barrels sourced from Napa Valley. As a “symbol of good luck and good fortune,” the whiskey is finished in a gold-plated barrel. The whiskey is slightly sweet, with notes of vanilla, rye, honey and apple, “light-bodied and gentle.” Each individually numbered bottle of Gold Bar American Whiskey comes with a collector-grade “Lady of Fortune” coin pressed into the front. The coin, inspired by the heroine of victory, was cast at America’s oldest operating private mint. The bottle also comes with a transparent pedestal stand for display.
