Delicato Family Vineyards and Hartley & Parker hosted a charity wine dinner to benefit the Bogies for the Brave at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Newington on September 21. The non-profit organization raises funds for veteran-related charities aiding post-9/11 veterans, their families and the families of the fallen. Bob Mercer, President of Bogies for the Brave, spoke about the group’s mission and guests enjoyed wine selections and paired cuisine for a four-course dinner. Donated wines included Black Stallion Chardonnay and the Z. Alexander Brown Uncaged wine line, including the Proprietary Red Blend, Cabernet and Pinot Noir.
