By October 29, 2017Connecticut, Top News

Highland Brass Company, founded by partners Dimitrios Zahariadis, Corey Bonderenko and John Boudreau, hosted its second anniversary party on September 17, 2017. The celebration at the Waterbury cocktail bar included raising funds for the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and National Bartender Emergency Relief Fund. United States Bartenders’ Guild Connecticut (USBG CT) chapter members donated their time and tips for a pig roast and Tiki party, including guest bartenders and USBG members Conrad Meurice from Chango Rosa, Dan Rek from Elm City Social, Aaron Stepka and Michela Zurstadt from Cook and Bear, Tim Cabral from Ordinary, Rachel Markoja from Division and Craig Ventrice of Kawa Ni/The Whelk/Jessup Hall. All tips and proceeds from frozen Harvey Wallbanger cocktails were donated. The event raised a total of $1,604 after an anonymous donor matched the night’s collected amount. El Dorado Rums, Skurnik Wines of CT and Litchfield Distillery sponsored the evening. The venue was also recently selected for hosting the holiday pop-up bar, Miracle, appearing in 50 cities worldwide starting November 24.

Guest and resident bartenders raised funds for hurricane efforts during the Highland Brass Company second anniversary party.

The Tiki-themed event featured cocktails and food.
