Martin Scott Wines’ Scott Gerber Caddies for a Cause

By October 1, 2013Connecticut, Top News

Scott Gerber, a founding partner and senior vice president of Martin Scott Wines in Lake Success, N.Y., grew up in Bloomfield, Conn. On August 17, 2013 Gerber revisited his hometown to re-live his childhood “job” of caddying for golfers of the local country club. Gerber, 60, who has type-2 diabetes, is pleased to report that he walked the full 18 holes at The Tumble Brook Country Club. And to show his support for the millions of Americans who suffer from diabetes, Gerber donated what he earned for his caddie work on the course, plus a matching amount, to the American Diabetes Association.
