New Vermouth Features Two-State Collaboration

Connecticut and Rhode Island brands came together for the Greenvale Vermouth Launch Party hosted at Greenvale Vineyards in Portsmouth, Rhode Island on April 25. Greenvale Vermouth is a collaboration between Westford Hill Distillers of Ashford, Connecticut and Greenvale Vineyards. The Vermouth recipe was created by Winemaker Richard Carmichael with Westford Hill distilling the spirit base from Greenvale’s Pinot Gris wine. Westford Hill Distillers is a producer of fine brandies and other artisanal spirits, owned and operated by Margaret and Louis Chatey. Guests enjoyed samples and cocktails featuring the vermouth.

Louis Chatey, Owner, Westford Hill Distillers; Nancy Parker Wilson, Owner, Greenvale Vineyards; Richard Carmichael, Winemaker, Greenvale Vineyards; and William Wilson, General Manager and Assistant Winemaker, Greenvale Vineyards.

Willa Van Nostrand, Owner, Little Bitte Artisanal Cocktails, created cocktails using Westford Hill’s Rime Organic Vodka and Greenvale Vermouth.
