Nouveau Monde Wine Bar + Bistro features rare and luxurious wines by the glass and more than 125 selections by the bottle alongside curated beer, cocktails and “liquid dessert” offerings. The sharable fare on the tapas-style bistro menu ranges from fried duck dumplings to beef short rib empanadas and charcuterie and cheese platters. Brunch is served on weekends.

Cocktail: Dangerous Liaison

Recipe:

• 2 oz. Asylum Connecticut Gin
• 1/4 oz. Luxardo Limoncello
• 1 oz. blood orange mix
• Splash of fresh lime juice

Add all ingredients into mixing tin with ice, shake vigorously, and pour into coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wedge

“Similar to our food menu, we wanted our cocktails to be familiar with an elevated, modern twist,” said Owner Bill Towne. “Three citrus flavors combine harmoniously with the beautiful herbal notes of Asylum Gin, bringing out the bright tone of the blood orange and slight bitterness of limoncello. One of our regulars helped us name the drink, being that Dangerous Liaisons is one of her favorite movies, and the drink is dangerously delicious.”
