Two Roads Adds New “Wine-Grape Beer”

By April 25, 2018Connecticut, Top News

Stratford-based brewery, Two Roads, announced the launch of a unique “wine-grape beer” brewed with Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Labeled “Sauvignon Blanc,” the wine brew is the latest addition to Two Roads’ Tanker Truck Sour Series lineup, a gose-style ale brewed with grapes and kettle-soured in a tanker truck at the brewery, under Brew Master Phil Markowski. Arriving just in time for the warmer weather, the new brew is a blend of crisp, mineral, tropical fruit and gooseberry flavors of a Sauvignon Blanc wine, combined with the salty, refreshing tartness of a gose beer. Two Road is among the first breweries to launch a beer of the wine-grape varietal.  The new Sauvignon Blanc Gose is available beginning April 25, for a limited time, in 16 oz. can 4-packs and draft and will join the rest of the Tanker Truck Sour Series, which includes Persian Lime, Passion Fruit, Clementine, and Plum.
