Industry veteran Terry Wheatley was named President of Vintage Wine Estates (VWE), where she has served as Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing since the 2014 VWE acquisition of Canopy Management, a company she cofounded. VWE’s brands include Clos Pegase Winery, Cosentino Winery, Girard Winery, B.R. Cohn Winery, Swanson Vineyards, Viansa Sonoma, Windsor Vineyards, Cameron Hughes, Firesteed, Sonoma Coast Vineyards, Clayhouse Wines, Buried Cane, Tamarack Cellars, Layer Cake, Cherry Pie, IYSK, Splinter Group Spirits, Middle Sister, Bar Dog, Girl & Dragon, Purple Cowboy and Game of Thrones Wines. Among accomplishments since joining Vintage Wine Estates, Wheatley is “most proud of fostering a culture which champions women in the wine industry and corporate responsibility.”
