The second-annual Big LeBREWski, presented by the RI Brewers Guild and RI Food Fights, is a statewide celebration of Rhode Island’s premier craft breweries. To participate, guests may purchase The Big LeBREWski Passport here and then each of the coupons, designed by RI Food Fights, can be used for a complimentary tasting or pour at more than 20 participating Rhode Island venues throughout the month of March. This is a 21+ event. No one under the legal age will be permitted to buy a passport. IDs will be required with the use of coupons.

Sammy’s Buyrite Liquors, in collaboration with sponsored by the Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, will host its annual beer and wine tasting at the William J. Pitkin Community Center on March 23. Representatives from a variety of wholesalers and distributors will be in attendance to pour selections. Guests will also have the chance to enter raffles and enjoy light appetizers. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Scholarship Fund.

MiKro Craft Beer Bar and Michael’s Greenhouses will host The Greenhouse Beer Festival on March 26. Located in Cheshire, Michael’s Greenhouse is one of the state’s largest greenhouses. Plants will be in full bloom as guests walk around and sample craft beer from MiKro Table of Rarities, Counterweight, New England Brewing Company, No Worries, Two Roads, Twelve Percent, Back East, Tribus, Armada, Berlinetta, Lawson’s, Von Trapp, Mill House, Brewport, Night Shift, Sloop, BBC, Allagash, and many more to be announced. Local bands will perform live bluegrass music and food will be available to purchase. All proceeds will benefit Legacy Theater in Branford, The Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Greater Waterbury and Smilow Closer to Free. Event is 21+. No children or pets.

Bad Sons Beer Co. will host its fifth-annual April Sours Beer Fest 2023 in its Barrel Room and Brewhouse in Derby on Saturday, April 8, 2023. The event will showcase sour beers from approximately 25 participating breweries. Local band Acoustic Mafia will perform in the Taproom from 5 to 8 PM.

NO IPA FEST is back. A spin-off from the annual Beervana Fest, the no-IPA fest enables other brews their chance to shine. Its founders believe the market “has a need to learn about the many beautiful and exciting classic styles that are really not getting much exposure in the current world.” Guests will taste and learn about more styles beyond the IPA: Goses, Milds, Kölsch, Gruits, Porters, Stouts, Sours, Barley Wines, Saisons, Dubbels, the many types of Bocks, Wee Heavys and Pilsner varieties as well as the other 80 or more beer styles “not super well known these days.” General Admission Ticket $60 2pm-5pm: includes 1 tasting glass, unlimited 2 oz. pours. Bad Sons Beer Co., in cooperation with Smoke in the Valley, will host the annual Brewers Ball Home Brew Festival at its brewery in Derby on April 15, 2023. Guests will be treated to pours of more than 60 brews in a variety of styles with a chance to cast their votes for their favorites in the People’s Choice Competition.
