The second-annual Big LeBREWski, presented by the RI Brewers Guild and RI Food Fights, is a statewide celebration of Rhode Island’s premier craft breweries. To participate, guests may purchase The Big LeBREWski Passport here and then each of the coupons, designed by RI Food Fights, can be used for a complimentary tasting or pour at more than 20 participating Rhode Island venues throughout the month of March. This is a 21+ event. No one under the legal age will be permitted to buy a passport. IDs will be required with the use of coupons.

NO IPA FEST is back. A spin-off from the annual Beervana Fest, the no-IPA fest enables other brews their chance to shine. Its founders believe the market “has a need to learn about the many beautiful and exciting classic styles that are really not getting much exposure in the current world.” Guests will taste and learn about more styles beyond the IPA: Goses, Milds, Kölsch, Gruits, Porters, Stouts, Sours, Barley Wines, Saisons, Dubbels, the many types of Bocks, Wee Heavys and Pilsner varieties as well as the other 80 or more beer styles “not super well known these days.” General Admission Ticket $60 2pm-5pm: includes 1 tasting glass, unlimited 2 oz. pours. Bad Sons Beer Co., in cooperation with Smoke in the Valley, will host the annual Brewers Ball Home Brew Festival at its brewery in Derby on April 15, 2023. Guests will be treated to pours of more than 60 brews in a variety of styles with a chance to cast their votes for their favorites in the People’s Choice Competition. Rhode Island PBS will host its annual food and wine event, “An Evening Uncorked!” on April 21 at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence. Returning for its 23rd year, the event will feature WJAR’s Mario Hilario as Event Emcee and Chef Ming Tsai, host of the PBS show, Simply Ming, as its celebrity guest, with a book signing by Ming, with his new book, Simply Ming One-Pot Meals. Guests will enjoy a variety of drink tastes from local wholesalers, fine wines from Gasbarro’s Wines and Brands of Portugal, spirits from Boston Harbor Distillery, KEEL Vodka, Rhode Island Spirits and Stonecutter Spirits; and beer from Narragansett Beer and Whalers Brewing Company, paired with food from top Rhode Island eateries.
