Campari and Imbibe Magazine present the 11th-annual Negroni Week. The international charity initiative is set to take place Sept. 18-24 in bars, restaurants and retailers around the world, all dedicated to celebrating the world-renowned cocktail with the common goal of raising funds for charitable initiatives. For the second year, the initiative has gone from a multi-charity model to one official non-profit partner: Slow Food, a global movement dedicated to sustainability, equity and diversity in food and drink, with the goal that all people have access to good food that is also environmentally safe and fairly priced.

Negroni Week has raised more than $3 million dollars in more than 70 countries for a variety of charitable causes since its inception.
Additionally, Campari will co-host the fourth annual Campari National Day of Service, in partnership with the USBG National Charity Foundation, on Sept. 19. The two organizations will lead a mix of virtual and in-person volunteer activities across the U.S. to support both local and national organizations. Wine dinners, seminars, tastings and brunch await guests of the annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival starting Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 through Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023. Guests will have the opportunity to taste and experience wines from every major wine region, enjoy food from artisanal food purveyors and top restaurants and meet famous local, regional and national chefs. The weekend schedule of events includes the Rosecliff Seminar Series, offering a variety of wine and spirits seminars, a Vintner Dinner, Sunday Brunch and various participating venue events.
All proceeds from the Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival benefit the historic preservation efforts of The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island, a non-profit organization accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and dedicated to preserving and interpreting the area’s historic architecture, landscapes and decorative arts. The 8th annual Crazy Brew Bash will take place at the Mount Southington Ski Area on Sept. 23 featuring hundreds of beers from more than 70 local craft breweries, along with select wines, spirits and seltzers. Entertainment will include live music, a Bloody Mary contest, corn hole and more with eats from a variety of food truck vendors. Sponsored by Crazy Bruce’s Liquors, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the REACH foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children through educational programs and scholarships. There will also be a toy drive at the event to collect new, unwrapped toys to donated to children in need this holiday season.
The 51st annual Brewfest at the Beach will take place at Ocean Beach Park in New London on Sept. 29. Hosted by the New London Rotary Foundation, the event will offer guests tastes of more than 150 craft beers, ciders, seltzers and wines on Ocean Beach’s Pavilion with free food, set to live music. Danbury’s Charter Oak Brewery will host its annual OAKtoBEERfest Celebration Party event on Sept. 30.
