The First Annual East Bay Beer Festival, waterfront location right alongside the Blount Clam Shack on historic Water Street in Warren, R.I., is also a fundraiser to benefit two local charities:The Hopkins Center and TAP-IN. Currently scheduled to appear include:*
Presented by Hopkins Center for Civil Rights, with the support of Brickyard Wine & Spirits and The East Bay Home Brew Club. This fundraiser will help raise funds for TAP-IN (Touch A Person In Need), a non-profit group of volunteers who act as a food pantry, collect donations of clothes and toys for children in need and organize free rides to medical appointments for senior citizens who require help in the Barrington, East Providence, Warren and Bristol areas, as well as The Hopkins Center, a non-profit legal aid organization whose mission is to represent the indigent to enforce their constitutional rights to free speech, private property and economic liberty.
