By August 30, 2018Rhode Island, Top News

Watch Hill’s Ocean House, along with MS Walker of Rhode Island, showcased 20 Grand Cru wines from Maison Louis Latour on August 1, specifically its 2009 and 2010 vintages. Led by Latour’s Ambassador Emeritus Andy Fruzzetti, guests enjoyed an extensive tasting of Grand Cru white and red burgundies while learning about the famed family-run négociant-éleveur and its two centuries of winemaking tradition and innovation. Domaine Louis Latour covers 48 hectares of vineyard, including 27 hectares of Grand Cru. It is the largest holding of Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy. Centered in the village of Aloxe-Corton, the location has been the Latour’s family home since the creation of the house.
