Sandy Giovese Vino Rosso, 12% ABV, is a light-bodied wine with bright cherry red color and violet overtones with extremely fine tannins for an easy-drinking and refreshing offering. Sandy Giovese Vino Rosato, 12.5% ABV, is bright with fresh strawberry fruit and nectarine skin, crisp, pale pink and refreshing. Each 3-liter box has one-tenth the carbon footprint of a traditional glass bottle.

Worldwide Wines welcomed a new boxed wine line from Italy. Launched in 2021, the wine line is the creation of Amy Ezrin, entrepreneur, Italian wine expert and importer. The brand name, Sandy Giovese, is a reference to her alter ego, which also is a playful homage to one of Italy’s most famous native red grapes, Sangiovese. The brand is committed to raising awareness around environmental sustainability and the empowerment of women and girls, as represented by the wine’s namesake character. Two varietals, Sandy Giovese Vino Rosso and Sandy Giovese Vino Rosato, offer lighter-bodied and lower-ABV wines from chemical-free, organically farmed grapes. Every 3-liter box contains the equivalent of four glass bottles of wine. Best served chilled, each box can be refrigerated for up to a month to enjoy. The Vino Rosso is made from 85% Sangiovese blended with “a healthy percentage” of Trebbiano (15%), a native Italian white grape, to ensure the wine is “light on its feet and smooth on the finish.” Sandy Giovese Vino Rosata is 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 10% Lacrima.
