2019 CRA Legislative Reception @ Old Judiciary Room, Legislative Office Bldg

The Connecticut Restaurant Association Legislative Reception at the Capitol brings together members of the Connecticut General Assembly with CRA members to discuss important issues as well as enjoy a sampling from member  restaurants from around the state, as well as beverages from member distributors.

Connecticut Restaurant Association Annual Golf Classic @ Lyman Orchards Golf Club

The Connecticut Restaurant Association will host its Annual Golf Classic at Lyman Orchards Golf Club  on June 25, 2019. The day will kick offs am with registration, lunch and time to mingle with fellow CRA Members. Golf begins with a Shotgun Start, Scramble Format. After eighteen holes of golf, there will be cocktails, dinner and awards. More details coming. The event supports the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation and the CRA.

CRA Wage & Compliance Seminars @ Wood N Tap - Newington

The Connecticut Restaurant Association will host four seminars across the state to help educate restaurant owners and operators on wage and compliance issues facing their business. Each seminar will feature presentations from a panel of industry experts on topics including Wage & Hour Audits, Tip Pooling, Overtime Rules, Immigration Enforcement, Sexual Harassment Training, Mandatory FMLA, Server Side-Work and Exempt vs Non-Exempt Classification. Guest Panelists will be Ryan O’Donnell, CRA Legal Counsel, Siegel, O’Connor, O’Donnell & Beck; Daryl DeMarco, Restaurant HR Consultant, HRCT, LLC; Dave Kaletski, Partner, Datapay Payroll Services; and Nicole Griffin, CRA Contract Lobbyist, Powers, Griffin & Hill. Scott Dolch, Executive Director, Connecticut Restaurant Association will moderate each session. CRA members receive free admission for up to two people.
