Foxwoods Resort Casino is hosting the annual Tacos & Tequila Fiesta in its Rainmaker Expo on May 24, 2025. Guests will enjoy tacos and tequila samples from dozens of brands, along with cocktails, live music and mechanical bull rides among the festivities. See last year’s highlights here.

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), in collaboration with Prestige Wine Imports, will host a trade tasting showcasing the portfolio of Prestige Wine Imports at Il Gabbiano on June 4. A wide array of wines will be available to try from producers Bigi and Castello Di Querceto and brands including Trentino, Rotari, Stemmari, Tenuta Rocca, with complimentary light fare courtesy of Il Gabbiano. Mohegan Sun will host Savor New England, a walk-around tasting event showcasing the best cuisine the area has to offer, on its Sun Patio on June 7. Seafood dishes and other bites will be available for purchase from local eateries. Guests will have a chance to sample tastes from the clam chowder competition and vote for their favorite. The Sip & Savor VIP experience will offer unlimited samples from local breweries and wineries and sponsors Casamigos, Cointreau, Corona, High Noon, Jim Beam, Sun Cruiser and Two Roads Brewing Company poured on the Sun Patio with live performances by Roomful of Blues and Will Evans.

The Beardsley Zoo will host its annual Wild Wine Beer & Food Safari on June 7. Guests will have the opportunity to taste food, beer and wine from dozens of vendors while taking in museum exhibits and visiting its many animals. Other entertainment will include live music, games and a silent auction. Presented by Turnpike Spirit Shop & Wine Emporium, participating venues include Amrita, The Blind Rhino, Colossal Kielbasa, Dave Grant Caters, East Coast Clambakes, Fortuna’s Catering, Garden Catering, Lesser Evil Snacks, Little Pub, Luna Azzurra Italiano, Nuovo Pasta, Palmer’s Catering & Events, Retreat Sweets, Rose Sisters Chips, Shake Shack, The Taste Garden, Vazzy’s, Vinny’s Pizza and more. Opened in 1922, the Beardsley Zoo is Connecticut’s only zoo and is home to more than 300 animals. The annual tasting event is the zoo’s largest fundraiser with proceeds to benefit care of the zoo’s endangered species, expansion of exhibits and educational programming.

New Hartford’s Ski Sundown will host the 14th-annual Litchfield Hills Brewfest on June 14, 2025. A variety of local craft beers, wines, ciders and spirits will be available for tasting along with eats from food truck vendors. Guests will also have the opportunity to win prizes through silent auctions and raffles. Sponsored by Torrington Savings Bank and Nejaime’s Fine Wine & Spirits, event proceeds will benefit St. Maron Church, Brooker Memorial, and Summit Adaptive Sports.

The 16th annual Calvanese Foundation Beer & Wine Tasting Festival will take place at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville on July 17. The event benefits the Joe & Kay Calvanese Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals in the Southington community through donations to charitable causes, organizations and schools. Co-sponsored by Southington’s Worldwide Wine & Spirits, the event featured samples of beer, wine and spirits from more than 50 vendors, with VIP access to a separate Premier Tasting section offering tastes of high-end wine and spirits. Guests can pair beverage tastes with food by the Aqua Turf Club and several local food trucks. The Joe & Kay Calvanese Foundation, a 501(c)(3) since 1996, honors the legacy of the late Joe and Kay Calvanese, who founded the Aqua Turf Club, and their long-standing commitment to community.

The Connecticut Pizza & Brew Fest brings two of the best things in life – pizza and beer – together for a taste extravaganza at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport. Presented by Brown Roofing, guests will have the opportunity to sample beer from more than 20 local craft breweries in the event’s beer garden paired with pizza from the top Connecticut pizza trucks. More entertainment will include dough throwing contests, live music and shopping local vendors. Children under 12 months are admitted for free – no ticket necessary. Beer garden is open to 21+ only.

Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, a nonprofit whose mission is to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, will host its annual Wine & Wishes fundraiser at the The Guild in Pawtucket on June 5. Representatives from multiple suppliers and distributors will pour beer, wine and spirits selections for guests, including MS Walker, The Guild, Fiddlehead Brewing Company, Ghost Tequila, Whalers Brewing Company and 1911 Hard Cider.

The Rhode Island Hospitality Association will host its Annual Membership Reception at The Capital Grille in Providence on June 9, 2025. Sponsored by The Capital Grille and Metro Lobster & Seafood, guests will be treated to small bites and refreshing drinks while networking with fellow industry professionals.

Taste of Rhode Island is a delicious celebration of Rhode Island’s great food, local spirits and live entertainment. Save the Bay, the charitable organization dedicated to the preservation of Narragansett Bay, will host its annual Taste of the Bay fundraising event at the Bay Center in Providence on June 12. The event will showcase food and drink from more than 30 vendors, including local restaurants, shellfish purveyors and bakeries. More than 20 local restaurants will offer festival eats, including Boat House Waterfront Dining, Bristol Oyster Bar, Giusto, Matunuck Oyster Bar, McGrath Clambakes, Inc., Mill’s Tavern with beverages from Chair 2 Light Beer, Fishers Island Lemonade, Granny Squibb’s Iced Tea, Grey Sail Brewing, Kristi’s Kraftails: Mocktails & Cocktails, Lani Sangria, Moniker Brewery, Narragansett Beer, Ragged Island Brewing, Rejects Beer Co., Shaidzon Beer Co., Sons of Liberty Spirits Co., South County Distillers, The Industrious Spirit Company and White Dog Distilling. All proceeds benefit Save the Bay’s advocacy, restoration and education efforts.

The Rhode Island Hospitality Association will kick off the summer season with a Hospitality Summer Kickoff to celebrated the hospitality community. Hosted at Narragansett Brewery, guests will be treated to an evening of great food and refreshing drinks in support of the RI Hospitality Advocacy Fund.

Rhode Island Monthly will host its annual Best of Rhode Island event at Providence’s WaterFire Arts Center on July 24. The annual event is a tribute to Rhode Island’s unique food and beverage venues and businesses, which are chosen by the public via Rhode Island Monthly’s online reader survey. Guests will enjoy dishes from the Ocean State’s best venues paired with beverage selections from local producers.

The first Pawtucket Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival will take place at Centreville Bank Stadium on Aug. 23. More than 25 of Rhode Island and New England’s most popular food trucks will be on-site dishing out fan favorites while craft beer vendors pour a variety of brews from local, regional and national brands. There will also be live music and family friendly lawn games. This event is open to all ages. Children ages 10 will be admitted for free.
