The 11th Annual Litchfield Hills Brewfest will return to Ski Sundown in New Hartford on June 11, 2022. A variety of local craft beers, wines, ciders and spirits will be available for tasting along with eats from food truck vendors. Guests will also have the opportunity to win prizes through silent auctions and raffles. Sponsored by Nejaime’s Fine Wine & Spirits in Watertown, event proceeds will benefit St. Maron Church, Brooker Memorial, and Adaptive Sports at Ski Sundown.

Royal Rosé is back at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Rosé all day with rosé wine, rosé vodka, rosé champagne and other innovative rosé-themed libations. The rosé wonderland offers world of wine, spirits and delectable food offerings and many whimsical pink-themed Instagram-worthy photo spots. Food and additional drinks will be available for purchase. Must be 21+.

The fourth-annual Spring Beer Fest by Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown will take place on June 17, 2022. The event will feature more than 30 regional and local craft breweries and distilleries, accompanied by plenty of popular food trucks. General Admission tickets cost $45 for the main event from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m and $55 for VIP Hour Access at 5:00pm with specialty beers poured. Designated Driver tickets are available. This is a 21+ event. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Waterbury Police Activity League, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating partnerships between local youth, law enforcement and the community through educational, recreational and athletic programs focused on team building and fostering positive relationships.

The second annual Change in the Air Fest, a celebration of craft beer and Black culture, will take place on June 18, 2022 at Bear’s BBQ in New Haven. Hosted by the Connecticut Brewer’s Guild, in collaboration with New England Brewing Co. and Sacred Heart University, the event will feature tastes from more than 20 local breweries. Local BIPOC food businesses will offer an array of eats along with Bear’s BBQ. The festival will also offer shopping from local vendors and artists and live musical acts, with more information to be announced soon.
The Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA) will host its annual Golf Classic at Lyman Orchards Golf Club on June 27, 2022. The day offers 18 holes of golf and a chance to gather with industry friends, all in support of the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation and the CRA. More details will be announced. The Sun Tequila Tasting is back. The limes will be squeezed and the salt & sugar will be flowing to complement an array of tasty tequila and margarita samples at each mixology and pouring station. The Rhode Island Hospitality Association (RIHA) Women in Hospitality Council will host a Women in Hospitality event on June 6, 2022 at O’Brien’s Pub in Newport. Proceeds from the event will benefit the RI Hospitality Education Foundation. The cost for attendance is $10 per person. Members may bring a guest.

The Newport Craft Brew Race will celebrate its annual fun run on July 16 with a walk or run 5K followed by a craft beer festival with more than 30 participating local, regional and national breweries on the grounds of Fort Adams State Park. All 5k participants and festival-goers will receive a pint glass and entry to the festival with ticket purchase, including access to beer sampling, live music, vendors and food trucks. Produced by Gray Matter Marketing, a portion of the proceeds from the Craft Brew Race Newport benefit the Rhode Island Brewer’s Guild in support of the growth of craft beer and brewing in Rhode Island. Wine dinners, seminars, tastings and brunch await guests of the annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival starting Friday, September 16, 2022 through Sunday, September 18. Guests will have the opportunity to taste and experience wines from every major wine region, enjoy food from artisanal food purveyors and top restaurants and meet famous local, regional and national chefs. The weekend schedule of events includes the Rosecliff Seminar Series, offering a variety of 50-person wine and spirits seminars, a Saturday night Vintner Dinner, and an elegant Sunday Brunch at Rosecliff. All proceeds from the Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival benefit the historic preservation efforts of The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island, a non-profit organization accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and dedicated to preserving and interpreting the area’s historic architecture, landscapes and decorative arts.
