Branford’s 1928 Cocktail Club hosted a bar takeover event on Jan. 24 featuring bartenders from The Court Cocktail Bar in Rome, voted 64th on Drinks International’s World’s 100 Best Bars and 49th on the Top 500 Bars list. Sponsored by Altamura Vodka, the event gave guests the opportunity to observe the talents of The Court Rome’s world-renowned bartenders Matteo Zed, Irene Pizzi and Veronica Aliotta as they created five signature cocktails behind the bar. Altamura Vodka is the first vodka to be produced using 100% wheat and ancient types of wheat grown in Italy’s Puglia region and is distributed in Connecticut by Brescome Barton.
