WHAT: Kicking off February’s Winter Wine Festival Month, the Max Cares Foundation and Max Hospitality will host the 2024 Max’s Winter Wine Festival Grand Tasting at The Bushnell in Hartford on Jan. 31. The event will feature A Taste of Max, with food selections from a variety of Max Restaurant locations, including Max Downtown, Trumbull Kitchen, Savoy Pizzeria, Max Burger, Max’s Tavern, Max’s Oyster Bar, Max a Mia, Max Fish, and Max Catering and Events. Guests will enjoy a walkaround tasting of wines from around the world and education from wine professionals. A VIP Champagne and Caviar reception will be available for a limited number of guests featuring high end wines from Louis Roederer, Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and more. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the Max Cares Foundation, whose mission is to provide financial assistance to nonprofit educational and charitable organizations for the Greater Hartford and Springfield communities and a scholarship program for graduating seniors pursuing a career in hospitality or culinary arts.
