
Oxford’s Black Hog Brewing Company hosted its second annual Barrel Aged Brew Fest at its brewery and tasting room on January 20. The event featured select barrel brews from 16 Connecticut and regional breweries, along with barrel aged brew releases from Black Hog. Black Hog offered new releases including Bourbon Barrel Aged Peach Milk Stout, Bourbon Barrel Aged Granola Brown Ale, Red Wine Barrel Aged Disco Pig 9.1 Irre Schwein and Port Barrel Aged Leaves a Mark. Food was provided by Caseus Cheese Truck, Chief Brody’s and Drunk Alpaca. Proceeds benefited Vie for the Kids, an organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer.
