Managers at Horizon Beverage Company of Rhode Island washed cars at a “Hot Diggity Dog Car Wash” to raise funds for Adoption Rhode Island on June 22. Held at Horizon’s West Greenwich office, the company matched employee donations to help raise $1,940 to support summer camp programs and activities for children in state care. Adoption Rhode Island is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to finding forever families for children in state care. The program facilitates, promotes and supports the permanent placement of children waiting for adoption while improving the well-being of foster and adopted children and their families.
