The Savory Grape of East Greenwich hosted a virtual tasting of Partida Tequila on June 12. Led by The Savory Grape’s Tulay Lawton and Jessica Granatiero in conjunction with Edrington’s Jackie Connetti, guests were invited to taste their way through the award-winning Partida Tequila line with special guest Sofia Partida, National Brand Ambassador, Partida Tequila. Partida shared the history of her family’s tequila-making legacy and its blue agave farming, gave a cocktail demonstration and offered guests pairing suggestions. The Partida Tequila line includes Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and Elegante Extra Añejo expressions. Partida Tequila, distributed in the state by Mancini Beverage – Rhode Island Distributing division, is made from blue agave grown in the Tequila Valley in red volcanic soil and is hand-harvested after seven to 10 years.
