Craft Beer Fest Brings Together Local Tastes

The Connecticut Brewers Guild, an organization by brewers and for brewers founded to help further the goals of the craft beer movement in the state, hosted its fourth annual CT Craft Beer Fest at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on March 26. Tastes from more than 60 local craft breweries were featured during VIP and General Admission sessions during the afternoon and evening. All guests received a commemorative tasting glass with a sample of a collaboration beer brewed by the Board of Directors of the Guild, and all event proceeds benefited the 501c(6) nonprofit trade association. Between beer tastes, guests shopped more than 20 artisan vendors and enjoyed food and concessions from The Oakdale and local food trucks.
