SoNo 1420 hosted the finale in its bartending competition series featuring its Blaze Cinnamon Whisky at its tasting room and distillery in South Norwalk on Oct. 9. After two qualifying rounds earlier in the fall at O’Neill’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Norwalk and at Stony Creek Brewery in Branford, the winners from each competition faced off in friendly competition for the final round. The competitors were Olivia Olsen, Bartender, ATC South Street; Chantal Anderson, Owner and Mixologist, Bar Juicy Traveling Bar Service; and Conrad Meurice, Owner, Cocktails by Conrad, with Meurice emerging as the winner of the competition series.
