
Narragansett’s Coast Guard House hosted a wine- and chocolate-pairing dinner on Jan. 18. Hosted by the Coast Guard House’s Elisa Wybraniec, Wine Director, and Jamie Welsh, Pastry Chef, the Dessert Discovery Series: A Journey of Chocolate and Wine featured five courses of decadent chocolate delights paired with a variety of sweet and dessert wine selections. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed Cleto Chiarli Organic Lambrusco di Modena, Zind-Humbrecht Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Hengst, Newport Vineyards Vidal Ice Wine, Burgess Cabernet Sauvignon and Cosentino Cigar Old Vine Zinfandel.

- Zind-Humbrecht Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Hengst was paired with white chocolate panna cotta, raspberry gazpacho, apricot tea gel, olive oil cake crumbs and florals.
