
Team from Eder Bros., Inc., welcomed Chris Benziger of Benziger Family Winery back to Connecticut for various accounts with a dinner at Char & Lemon in Oxford on Jan. 31. Wines for the four-course menu included Benziger Sauvignon Blanc, Imagery Sauvignon Blanc and Imagery Pinot Noir. Benziger serves as the winery’s brand ambassador, traveling the country sharing the Benziger Sonoma County portfolio of wines with fine wine shops and restaurants. Accompanied by Eder Bros. On-Premise Development Manager Marissa Mayo, Benziger showcased Benziger Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; Tribute Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir; and Imagery Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, among wines. During the dinner event, he educated guests on the certified biodynamic and organic wines made through sustainable farming. Benziger oversees the home ranch and its many farm-related duties, including shepherding its flock of sheep and cows, tending to the estate’s vegetables and fruit trees, and producing the biodynamic preparations for the family’s vineyards.
