Highclere Castle Gin exhibited at the CT Spring Boat Show in Essex during the weekend of April 26-28. Featured tastings of a Highclere Bloody Mary along with a Bright and Stormy cocktail were offered. The boat show saw 2,000 people over the course of the weekend. Highclere Castle Gin partnered with local business partners Noah’s at 63 Main to offer Highclere Castle Gin’s featured cocktails for $8 over the weekend, with partial proceeds going to Sail Up 4 Cancer, and 10% off a bottle purchased from Bob’s Centerbrook Package Store. The CT Spring Boat Show is a production of WindCheck magazine and is hosted by Safe Harbor Essex Island Marina. Highclere Castle Spirits launched in 2019 and was founded by Connecticut resident Adam von Gootkin and the Eighth Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, owners of Highclere Castle. The 5,000-acre estate in Hampshire, England, rose to international fame as the filming location for the Emmy-winning period drama “Downton Abbey.” Made with a unique blend of botanicals selected from the castle’s ancient estate gardens—including juniper, citrus and lavender—the London Dry-style gin also uses estate-grown oats, which contribute to its smooth profile. With more than 170 awards, Highclere Castle Gin is the most awarded premium gin brand in the world.
