WHAT: Children in Placement, in collaboration with Kindred Spirits & Wine, will host the annual fundraising and tasting event, Flavors of Hope, at the Fairfield Museum & History Center on Sept. 27. The evening will offer fine wine, cocktails and beer tastes, cuisine from local eateries set to a backdrop of live music and performances. Sponsored by Kindred Spirits & Wine, Lucas Bols, Bob’s Discount Furniture and Yale University, funds raised will benefit Children in Placement, an organization advocating for safe and secure living conditions for children in the welfare system.
