Highclere Castle Gin, the most awarded premium gin in the world, is now distributed in Rhode Island via Johnson Brothers.

Connecticut-based Highclere Castle Gin joined the Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island portfolio. Launched in 2019, Highclere Castle Gin is crafted from botanicals sourced from the estate of the castle that shares its name, known to millions as the “real ‘Downton Abbey.’” The super-premium London dry gin is made with botanicals from the iconic castle’s herb garden, using juniper, orange peel, lime flower, lavender and Highclere’s estate-grown oats. The Eighth Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, owners and current residents of the castle, are Co-founders of the brand together with Connecticut spirits entrepreneur Adam von Gootkin. Since its launch, Highclere Castle Gin is now the most awarded premium gin in the world.
