Pernod Ricard Announces Climate Commitments

By October 28, 2024Top News

Pernod Ricard took part in Climate Week NYC in September, a first for the company. Described as a major global event in the fight against climate change, the company said that the event is an opportunity to reaffirm its climate commitments and set out its road map, “Good Times from a Good Place,” centered around four pillars: nurturing terroir, valuing people, circular making and responsible hosting. In line with its ambition to incorporate challenges into its entire value chain, Pernod Ricard presented initiatives that support the transition toward regenerative agriculture and more circular production, specifically to help reduce the carbon emissions and water consumption linked to its activities and those of its suppliers, which include premium to luxury brands such as Absolut Vodka, Ricard Pastis, Ballantine’s, Chivas Regal, Royal Salute, The Glenlivet Scotch whiskies, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Martell Cognac, Havana Club Rum, Beefeater Gin, Malibu Liqueur, and G.H. Mumm and Perrier-Jouët Champagnes.
