The team from Providence’s Industrious Spirit Company (ISCO) celebrated the winter season with its second Winter-Blues-Be-Gone Party at its distillery and tasting room on Jan. 23. Cait Jackson, Tasting Room Manager and Creative Director, ISCO, mixed up cocktails for guests all evening. Guests enjoyed small plates to accompany the release of ISCO’s latest spirit, Everything Bagel Aquavit, made from organic wheat, spices from Ocean State Pepper Co. and salt to mimic the taste of an everything bagel. ISCO Everything Bagel Aquavit offers notes of toasted sesame with hints of roasted garlic followed by subtle notes of celery and onion, balanced with lemon zest and a delicate nuttiness, followed by a smooth, savory finish. The line also includes Blue Velvet Bourbon, Patina Barrel Aged Gin, Ornamental Gin, Structural Vodka, Ostreida Oyster Vodka and Gemma Crystal Vodka, distributed in Rhode Island by Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company.
