Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), celebrated the addition of Bosscal, a complex and 100% organic mezcal brand, to its portfolio with a presentation and tasting during its general sales meeting on April 2. Led by Emmanuel Pene, Chief Commercial Officer, Bosscal, the CDI on-premise team explored the brand’s rich history, mission and artisanal production practices. Founded in 2015, Bosscal is a family-run distillery based in Durango, Mexico, operating under Norma Oficial Mexicana certification. With a philosophy rooted in sustainability and tradition, Bosscal follows a “Mountain to Market” ethos: hand-harvesting wild agave with an emphasis on environmental stewardship. Three expressions are now available in the market: Joven, Damiana and Pechuga de Conejo, each delivering distinct flavor profiles and honoring authentic Mexican heritage.
