Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted brand education for its On-Premise Diamond Division on spirits from Holladay Distillery during a sales meeting on April 2. Joe Quinn, Vice President, Select Brands, led the team through the history and craftsmanship behind Holladay Distillery. In an immersive session exploring the legacy of founder Ben Holladay and the Missouri-based distillery’s storied past, Quinn highlighted everything from its limestone springs, discovered by Lewis and Clark, to its unique standing as the oldest distillery west of the Mississippi still operating on its original site. The team tasted Holladay’s Soft Red Wheat Bourbon and Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon, gaining insight into how wheat impacts a bourbon’s softer, smoother finish. The tasting concluded with a series of innovative cocktails by Erick Galbreath, Brand Engagement Specialist, Holladay Distillery. “This is such an exciting addition to our incredible whiskey portfolio,” said Corrissa Wilson, Business Manager, CDI. “Holladay’s rich heritage brings authenticity and craftsmanship to the table while offering something new and exciting, uniquely different than everything on Whiskey Row. It’s exactly the type of brand our on-premise and retail partners can reach for, to meet the ever-evolving consumer palate.”
