Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company (SGBC) of Rhode Island partnered with Corona in April for its local Protect Our Beaches initiative. Working with nonprofit Save The Bay, company teams gathered at Field’s Point in Providence on April 11. “This is an important initiative for us as a company and our community as we look to be leaders among Rhode Island beverage companies and the environmental community,” said Joe Sincerny, VP/General Manager, Wayne Division, SGBC. The team, who collected more than 400 pounds of recyclables, ended the shoreline cleanup day with a happy hour at Hot Club. Save The Bay is an independent, member-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and improving Narragansett Bay and all the waters that flow into it through advocacy, education, and habitat restoration and adaptation.
