Rémy Cointreau named Franck Marilly as its new CEO, effective June 25. A consumer goods veteran, Marilly has worked at luxury and cosmetics groups including Chanel, Unilever and Shiseido, where he was most recently President and CEO of the EMEA region and the global fragrance division. He replaces Eric Vallat, who resigned earlier this year after more than five years at the helm. Under his leadership, the company said the group will pursue its value strategy, as well as the development and implementation of new innovations in order to strengthen the desirability of its brand portfolio, while consolidating its position in key markets and opening up to new territories.
