
Stratford’s Two Roads Brewing Company showcased its latest spirits release with a Barbecue & Booze Pairing Dinner on May 15. Hosted by Two Roads’ Benjamin Paré, Director of Hospitality, and Phil Markowski, Master Brewer, guests enjoyed a five-course menu paired with signature cocktails and neat pours featuring spirits from Two Roads Distilling, including its new Two Roads Distilling Bourbon. The bourbon is produced in small batches, aged for three and a half years in No. 3 and No. 4 charred American oak barrels. It will be featured in Two Roads’ latest canned cocktail, Nightshaker Old Fashioned Bourbon Cocktail. The Two Roads Distilling line also includes Vodka, Rum and Gin. Guests enjoyed cocktails such as the Vodka Spritz, Smoked Coffee Old Fashioned, Rumhattan and Basil Gimlet.

- The Rumhattan cocktail, a blend of Two Roads Distilling Rum, Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth, Scrappy’s Aromatic Bitters and black cherry.
- Smoked and seared beer-braised pork belly was served with black-eyed peas and collard greens and paired with the Rumhattan cocktail.
- Seard gulf shrimp with Vermont cheddar grits, chorizo, scallion, toasted breadcrumbs and a bell pepper emulsion was paired with the Basil Gimlet.
