
The 14th annual A Taste of Simsbury, presented by Liberty Bank, was hosted at The Riverview on Aug. 22. Co-organized by Sarah Nielsen, Executive Director, Simsbury Main Street Partnership, the showcase hosted 22 area restaurants and 17 beverage suppliers for an evening of tastes. Guests enjoyed a variety of cuisine options from each venue paired with beverage tastes from Back East Brewing Co., Drink Mechanics, Counter Weight Brewing Co. New England Cider Co., RIPE Bar Juice, Stormalong Cider, Thomas Hooker Brewery and Waypoint Spirits, among others. Wholesaler sponsors included Brescome Barton, Mancini Beverage, Martignetti Companies and all wine and spirits were supplied by The Wine House and Owner Bill Daum. Proceeds from the sold-out event benefited the Simsbury Main Street Partnership, a nonprofit dedicated to economic development and the support of recreation and tourism in Simsbury.
