Amity Wine & Spirits in Hamden hosted Onyx Spirits Owner Adam von Gootkin along with Connecticut Brand Manager Jeff Conelius for its first tasting event of the New Year on January 23, 2014. von Gootkin and Conelius discussed the history of moonshine and Prohibition for the approximately 25 attendees.
