Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd., hosted an Ammunition Wines & Whiskey takeover, among events and activations around Sun BBQ Fest, on June 17 at Mohegan Sun. Representatives from both Ammunition and Monsieur Touton took over Clay Pipe Cigar Bar, with three cocktails showcased, including two barreled-cocktail features. Other participating venues included Todd English’s Tuscany with two cocktails; novelle with Ammunition Bourbon, Rye, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir; Sportsbook by FanDuel with two cocktails; and TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge featuring Ammunition Bourbon and Rye as its Whiskeys of the Day. Created by Daylight Wine & Spirits, the Sonoma County brand offers its wines and whiskeys via Monsieur Touton across Connecticut. Ammunition Bourbon and Rye are blended from 2-, 3- and 4-year-old whiskeys and are each finished in Ammunition wine barrels. Ammunition Straight Bourbon Whiskey is finished in French oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels and Ammunition Straight Rye Whiskey is finished in French oak Pinot Noir barrels, imparting a unique sweetness and tannins on each expression and adding a depth of flavor and nuanced finish that you’ll only find with both Ammunition Bourbon and Rye.
