Ara is Māori for pathway. Sitting on the edge of the world, Marlborough, New Zealand’s extreme climate can present challenges for winemakers. However, Ara’s path toward capturing the essence of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is apparent in every bottle. After destemmed and gently pressed fruit is inoculated with aromatic yeast strains, a slow, three-week fermentation develops generous tropical fruit, fresh-cut apple and notes of crushed mint. Marketed by Bronco Wine Co.
