
The employees at Bacardi Bottling Corporation in Jacksonville, Florida were recognized for their contributions to wildlife habitat conservation and education at the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) Conservation Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The bottling facility is the sole bottling plant for Bacardi rum products, and is surrounded by rural residential areas, including on-site habitats, like wetlands, forests and grasslands. The bottling plant makes up 92 acres, 21 of which are managed by Bacardi employees as part of a Wildlife at Work program certified through the WHC since 2013.
