BAR on Crown Street in New Haven hosted several charitable initiatives during the 2022 holiday season. On Dec. 1, the venue, in partnership with New England Brewing Co., hosted a holiday toy drive to benefit Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. Guests were invited to bring new unwrapped toys to donate and enjoyed festive libations served up by the venue’s mixology team throughout the evening. BAR also donated $1 from each purchase from its holiday menu to local nonprofit the Columbus House, dedicated to providing life-saving shelter and services to people in the New Haven community who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
